1. Are the henna powder and natural colors we sell natural?

2. What are the applications of the Henna based hair colors? How do we apply these colors to hair?

Largely the application process of henna or natural colors on hair involves mixing the colors with water and applying the paste using a brush or fingers evenly throughout the hair. The paste is then allowed to dry and then washed. We provide complete assistance to explain the application of different products, including the precautions to be taken. 3. Can henna powder be used for grey hair?

Yes, our products can be used on all types of hair, including grey hair. The Henna Hair Colors provide 100% grey hair coverage. The shade that the hair colors leave might vary a little, depending on the base color of the hair.

4. Why is PPD, Ammonia harmful for hair?

PPD that is Paraphenylenediamine is a chemical which is commonly used in hair coloring products. The chemical could lead to mild to excessive allergies on skin and is hence its use is discouraged by many. 

Just like PPD, Ammonia is also considered to be harmful as it could damage hair cuticles resulting in dry, unhealthy hair. Excessive exposure, specially for those with sensitive skin could also result in skin allergy and irritation for eyes.

5. What is henna?

Henna is a natural substance. It is prepared from the plant Lawsonia Intermis and requires warm temperatures for its growth. It is not found in regions of heavy rainfall. It is a popular substance as it could be used as a natural dye. It leaves a reddish-brown tint when applied on skin and hair. Pure henna powder is only crushed henna, with no other substance added to it.
